As you are aware by now, the IQL or the Indian Quizzing League turned ONE!! As part of the celebrations, we would be having a month long quizzing festival on this blog.
The batch of quizzes for the IQL Anniversary Quizfest are scheduled as follows:
Timeline: Oct 18/19 till Nov 15/16.
Week 1 - Books and sports
Week 2 - Movies & history
Week 3 - Etymology and Music
Week 4 - Mythology & Comics
Week 5 - Mixed Bag
We welcome contributions in the form of questions, ideas and suggestions. Kindly send in your questions (along with answers) to quizakn@gmail.com.
While we cannot assure you that all your contributions would be put up as quizzes, we guarantee that you will be credited.
Contributions should be sent in at least 4 days prior to the date on which the topic is scheduled.
Specifics - 10 questions make a quiz.
All ten questions to be on the same topic of interest.
The questions will be posted on all saturdays and sundays only and would be open for answering until the Friday of the next week. Any answer obtained after 00.00 Friday would not be considered.
The answers would be announced on the following saturday and sunday and the new batch of questions would be up.
Scores would be accumulated at the end of each week over the period and the Grand Winner would be announced.
Needless to say, the IQL core members are not eligible to participate in these quizzes.
All the questions and answers would be on the IQL blog and we would not be sending out individual questions and answers to your email IDs. Therefore, kindly check the blog from time to time.
